Wrecked car on freeway in Whittier causes deaths of 2 men

A wide range of injuries may occur when a person is involved in a freeway car accident in California. Broken bones, spinal injuries, and even death can be the result of irresponsible driving or poor decision making by drivers in car accidents. Car repairs or replacements are another casualty from most car accidents. In one split second, the decisions of a driver may affect the lives of many others on the road, and many teenage drivers especially lack the experience and knowledge necessary to lessen the deadly effects of a freeway car accident.

Recently, on a dark freeway in the early hours of the morning, two men were killed after their vehicles collided with a previously wrecked car that was left sitting there. The abandoned car caused four accidents in all; one driver crashed his vehicle while trying to avoid an accident.

The driver of the abandoned car, an 18-yea r-old girl, crashed into a median wall. It is unknown whether she turned the safety hazard lights on to warn other drivers of the car's presence. Authorities are said to still be investigating the cause of the girl's accident.

When a car accident occurs, the person who caused the collision may be responsible for damages sustained to the other cars involved in the crash, and for medical bills for those who are injured. Any person involved in a car accident may want to meet with an attorney to decide if they deserve money from the responsible driver in the accident. This is also true for family members who may have lost a loved one in a car accident.
